I was thinking that too cause it is an interference motor and it would make sense that it wouldn't crank. The way the guy explained it to me was he was driving it after doin a timing belt on it and the car was idling very rough like it was out of time. As he drove it the alternator wasn't working so all of the power was thru the battery and the car kept wanting to die while driving. Lights came on and off on the dash and then when idling the car shut off and never turned on. My biggest fear is he did some damage with it being off timing and now compression is gone and that's why it didn't start. What should I look for and where should I start from? In the video it didn't seem like battery was weak at all it was a strong crank and he said he just put in some fuel before driving. Can the off timing cause damage to the car? Thanks
